Over 70 businesses attended an new networking event at Elvington Air Museum in March. The #NTMY Nice To Meet You event, was hosted by Business Support York and North Yorkshire, the Federation of Small Businesses and Natwest. Attendees were inspired by the real life entrepreneur story of former international rugby player, Charlie Simpson-Daniel entrepreneur who lives and breathes as a startup business in the food industry and next generation offerings in major retail.
Founder of the Kings Brand & New World Foods (Europe) Sales & Marketing Director who launched Kings Elite Snacks into Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, ASDA, Aldi, Waitrose, Wh Smiths, Boots, Costco, Iceland, B&M and the CO-OP across Crisps, Snacks, Food to Go, Sports Nutrition and Chilled categories, delegates were treated to a free sample of Kings Biltong.
Charlie is also Managing Director & Co-Founder of the company Revolution Waves, this newly launched product was also on show having been snapped up by Tesco Jan 2017 and CO-OP March 2017.
