The Federation of Small Businesses has re-launched its Norwich networking event after moving venues to accommodate a rising number of attendees.
The Connect event, which is open both to FSB members and non-members, was held at the Assembly House in the city centre for the first time in September.
Around 30 business owners from across Norfolk attended the meeting, taking the opportunity to make some new local contacts.
The event was hosted by FSB’s Area Lead in East Anglia, Penny Morgan, who updated attendees on some of FSB’s key campaigning work.
In particular, Penny discussed FSB’s recent campaign highlighting the need for more investment in the local road network. She also outlined the opportunities for local members to become involved in advocacy, training and networking events in Norfolk.
The key speaker at the event was Matt Sykes of Salescadence, who provided attendees with some insights into “why people buy and why they don’t”.
The next Connect event at the Assembly House will take place on 19 November and tickets are available through Eventbrite.
