Bilingual web design and digital marketing agency Gwe Cambrian Web tasted success at the North Wales Young Business Awards 2018 on Saturday, 29th September which were held at the Main Hall, Bangor University.
The evening was organised to celebrate the hard work that people have gone to, in order to set up their own business, particular those under the age of 35.
Gwe Cambrian Web were finalists in the Creative Business of the Year category, and the Online Business of the Year category. On the evening, they scooped the Online Business of the Year 2018.
Emlyn Jones of Gwe Cambrian Web said: “We really weren’t expecting to win at all, being finalists in two of the categories was an honour, and the event was a great networking opportunity for us. Our main office is located on Bridge Street in Aberystwyth, but we have a strong client base in north Wales, and we’re really excited to have been part of this prestigious event.
"We’re really passionate about getting businesses online with great websites and fantastic digital marketing. Our business was set up with Welsh as a primary focus – to offer bilingual websites and a Welsh service at all times, and this is still a very important part of what we do.”
Kerry Ferguson of Gwe Cambrian Web has also been shortlisted as a Finalist in the “Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2018” Regional Forward Ladies National Awards, which are being held on the 12th of October 2018, in Manchester.
Rob Basini, FSB South Wales Development Manager, said: “Huge congratulations are owed to Gwe Cambrian Web. They are clearly a passionate and innovative business and I’m sure that this is only the beginning of an exciting journey for them.”
