Last year HM Government launched its Industrial Strategy, which sets out a long term plan to boost the productivity and earning power of people throughout the UK.
Each Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) will set out a Local Industrial Strategy (LIS) for its area, which should identify priorities for skills, innovation and infrastructure and guide local funding streams.
The LISs will identify local strengths, challenges and future opportunities to boost productivity and earning power and competitiveness in our local areas and may lead to further devolved powers and greater government funding.
The FSB is speaking with all LEPs to ensure that the small business voice is heard, but please look out for opportunities to contribute in your local areas, such as consultations and roundtables:
