The Chris Grayling MP Awards

Purdah applied during this year’s Awards so local MP Chris Grayling was compelled to take a back seat for fear of electioneering in the lead up to the General Election.

However, it didn’t detract from the many entrants, sponsors and finalists attending this hugely popular local event now it’s eighth year and still being hosted in the theatre of the University of Creative Arts in Epsom.

Preceded by a fabulous reception providing networking opportunities our volunteer members went to work on recruiting finalists to join FSB and in particular on of our member judges (Deepa Veneik) spent some time with Alan Wilson Dentistry who later went on to win the Epsom & Ewell Business of the Year Award and two weeks later joined the FSB.

The Best Business in Ewell and Stonleigh Category sponsored by FSB was awarded to Karen Stuarts Handbags a worthy winner said Deepa who was one of the judges.
